
Valli Ehrlich

Valli Ehrlich is a Paediatric Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia. Valli has extensive experience in the assessment and management of children with communication impairments. She has particular interest in early language, literacy development and phonological awareness. Valli has worked in preschools, early childhood centres, schools and private practice for over 10 years.
Valli has a thorough understanding of the Australian School Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as well as the language and literacy skills that pre-school and school-aged clients need to function effectively in the classroom and become confident, competent communicators.
Valli is committed to ongoing professional development and current evidence-based practices to ensure a relevant and targeted approach to best assist children and their families. She has undergone extensive training in procedures and practices, completed a variety of workshops and conferences. Valli is also involved in educator and teacher training, the implementation of language and literacy programs and workshops throughout Australia. One of the most recent projects involved the introduction of language and literacy programs within remote Aboriginal Communities in Warmun, Western Australia.
Valli aims to provide the best functional outcomes for her clients, achieved with structured therapy developing children’s skills through fun, play-based activities, as well as developing parents’ and carers’ skills for continued progress at home. Valli holds a strong belief in holistic management; working collaboratively with paediatricians, allied health professionals and families in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children.
