Developmental Paediatrician: Kelly Saltman

Dr Kelly Saltman
MBBS Bsc(Med) FRACP MPH

Dr Saltman is an experienced paediatrician with a sub-specialisation in Developmental and Behavioural Paediatrics. She is deeply passionate about the overall health and happiness of children and their families.

Her collaborative and holistic approach includes working closely with the young person, their families, educators, and allied health professionals to understand and support each child’s individual needs. Her goal is to help the young person find their strengths, develop resilience and self-advocacy, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Dr Saltman specialises in the diagnosis and management of children and adolescents (ages 5-17) with neurodevelopmental differences, including:
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Developmental (including language) delays and early behavioural problems
• Specific Learning Disorders

She also treats young people with associated mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression.
After graduating from the University of New South Wales, Dr Saltman trained and worked for many years at the Sydney Children’s Hospital (Randwick), The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and in regional NSW public health settings.

Dr Saltman also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Dr Saltman has been a Consultant Developmental Paediatrician in private practice for over a decade and is a member of :
• Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics
• Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA)
• World Federation of ADHD
