Dr Tran Nguyen

Tran is a General Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist who has extensive experience in helping children and their families diagnose and manage a wide range of paediatric conditions. These include growth, developmental and behavioural concerns, reflux, constipation, eczema, unexplained fevers, childhood and travel related infections and immunisation advice.
In addition to seeing private patients at Developmental Paediatrics, Tran is a Staff Specialist in immunisation at the National Centre for Immunisation, Research and Surveillance and a Consultant Paediatrician at Bankstown Hospital. She has worked in numerous Queensland and New South Wales metropolitan and regional health services and she completed her dual specialty training at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.
Tran is a member of the Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases and an adjunct lecturer in the Sydney Children’s Hospital, Faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW.
Tran is dedicated to providing compassionate, holistic and evidence based medical care. She speaks fluent Vietnamese and is a passionate advocate for the culturally and linguistically diverse population. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and travelling.
