Kerri Segal
Kerri has over 20 years of dietetic experience in hospitals, private practice, and nutritional lecturing. She qualified at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and became an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a member of Dietitians Australia in 2008. She moved to Australia with her husband and 3 daughters in December 2019.
Kerri is passionate about health, nutrition, exercise, mental health, and wellbeing. Her evidence-based approach is to motivate children/adolescents to be the best version of themselves. This is supported by one-on-one coaching and an individualised eating plan specific to their lifestyle, exercise routine and health needs. Kerri focusses on educating both the child/adolescent and their parents.
Her main areas of speciality are Paediatrics, Gastro-intestinal diseases, Diseases of Lifestyle and Nutrition through every stage of the life cycle.
Kerri’s journey in nutrition began as an extremely tactile defensive, fussy eater. She knows first-hand the impact of developmental challenges on appetite, mood, concentration, energy levels and sleep patterns and can empathise with the effects it has on one’s family.
She loves what she does and her greatest gift to every child/adolescent is an improved self-confidence, healthy relationship with food and the ability to love who they see in the mirror.
